We saw an extended forspoken gameplay!

EXCLUSIVE Forspoken Gameplay! New Abilities, Spells, Combos & More More than a year ago we had our first look at Project Atria, Title that would eventually be revealed as For spoken. From its first moments, the game called a lot of attention because it looked like an authentic next generation experience. In recent months we were already pleased more about this project thanks to new advances in video, but recently Square Enix invited us to a session HANDS-OFF where we could see an extended gameplay and here we tell you about our initial impressions.

To begin with, it is important to mention that For spoken will be an open world adventure, with everything and different locations to explore and secondary missions for completing. However, to differentiate itself from the other games of gender, its developers will be implementing a mechanics of Magic Parkour that allows it to Frey, protagonist of the title, navigate through this world in an elegant, fluid and fast way.

For what they showed us in the Gameplay, this mechanics will be one of the most important elements for exploration at For spoken and it seems that it could also have some use in combat, which looks truly incredible. Despite being a preliminary build, the animations and the feeling of freedom that mobility causes the game are almost palpable. Because it will be an exclusive experience of PS5 in consoles, I hope that also complement this with the use of dual sense.

In addition to the Parkour system, players can place markers on the game map that will help them with navigation in Atria, however, those who prefer to discover things on their own will also be rewarded if they decide to get out of the conventional road. As players progress in history, new areas and zones will be unlocked to explore.

In this gameplay we also had an opportunity to know CI PAL, a city that will act as a kind of hub where we can interact with some other NPCs to learn more details about them. CI PAL is the last vestige of humanity in Atria, however, Frey You can also find the ruins of other cities and towns that will offer a little more Lore about the ancient inhabitants of the earth.

Throughout our adventure at Atria, we must face a lot of enemies, but where did they come from, and who are they? The main antagonists of the game are the many, crazy and evil sorceresses that govern Atria, but they were not always like that. Its authors explained that an event known as the rupture was responsible for corrupt everything he played. It is unknown exactly what caused it, but as a result, the animals became beasts, men in monsters and free and safe lands are now dangerous kingdoms.

Before Rupture, so many were benevolent materials that were responsible for reigning with dignity, integrity and virtue. Now that they are no longer, it will depend on Frey to stop them and to do so we will have an extensive arsenal of magic skills at our disposal. As such, Frey will not carry weapons, but even without them, the magical skills of him look extremely fun and in this gameplay we could see a little more of them.

As I talked it a few moments ago, Frey will only be equipped with magical skills to deal with their enemies, but do not let this deceive you, as they seem to be extremely fun to use. He will be ranking skills, from a distance and even traps, and as a player you can mix all of them to end the enemies of very creative ways. These skills can also rise from level to cause much more heartless effects.

No matter what your favorite game style, For spoken will let you have the approach you want to each confrontation. For example, you could use only MAGIC MELEE to fight closely, or if what you prefer is to add a little more strategy to the mix, it will also be possible to combine different skills for different combat effects. For example, in the gameplay that I saw Frey used a giant water bubble to encapsulate the enemies and subsequently threw a shower of ice to kill all of them quickly. This was not only graphically incredible, but it was also extremely rewarding. And by the way, it will also be possible to go unnoticed before a group of enemies thanks to skills that will allow you to become completely invisible in case you prefer a more subtle approach to each goal.

If you want to rest from combat it will also be possible to find different recess points distributed along the map, which will allow you to forge improvements to increase your medicine capacity or materials you can upload, as well as improve your skills or simply recover all your points of life.

FORSAKEN will also offer a certain level of personalization to the user beyond combat. Frey You can equip different layers and accessories that will give you certain Boosts to your skills, as well as some other Perks. These accessories will also be visually reflected in the character, so you must choose between what you like most and what will really give you useful bonuses.

Additionally, there is a curious system to increase the efficiency of your magical skills by painting the nails of Frey with special patterns using Break Shards. His developers wanted to represent the improvements of the skills in a way that was part of the story of Atria, as well as merging them with something that was recognizable in our modern world. In general, all the complete combat package in for spoken Luce promoter, and I think it will definitely be one of the strongest points of this game.

As for the technical section, your developers explained that they want to have an option of 2k to 60fps and another 4k to 30fps with Ray Tracing, but they will be giving us more details about this in the future.

To be completely honest, I was not too excited about for spoken, but because of everything I could see, this game happened to be a more expected one of the next year. I worry a bit about the ambitious thing that looks, and frankly I hope that the final product will fulfill my expectations. I can not wait until May to finally put my hands over to the new of Square Enix and Luminous Productions.

FORSAKEN Legal to PS5 and PC on May 24, 2022.
